Power Expansion Pack
The Power Expansion Pack, also known as the battery expansion pack, is used to extend the battery capacity of a portable power station (that supports battery expansion), thereby providing a longer usage time. The battery capacity of the Power Expansion Pack is the same as that of the main unit and is equipped with its own Battery Management System (BMS). However, it does not have independent discharge functionality and must be used in conjunction with the main unit. Some models with a Power Expansion Pack offer independent charging functionality, allowing the pack to be charged separately from the main unit (e.g., Explorer 2000PLUS). The Power Expansion Pack needs to be connected to the main unit via a dedicated connection cable (expansion cable), with the main unit's control system managing the pack's usage.
Currently, the JACKERY models that support the Power Expansion Pack are the 2000PLUS and 1000PLUS. The Power Expansion Packs for these two models are not interchangeable.
